Educational

Many people have had their educational plans disrupted due to the ethnic conflict and more recently the Tsunami.  There is an urgent need for young professionals to transfer their skills to the people in North-East Sri Lanka.

We would like volunteers to teach the following skills:

• Basic English language
• Advanced Microsoft Applications (Project and Publisher)
• Project Management
• Object Oriented programming such as Java, C#

Local Transport, food and accomodation will be paid for. If you would like to take part this Summer then please contact us before the end of June.

International Show

We are planning to hold a International Festival towards the end of this Summer.

We would like volunteers to carry out the tasks below:

• Security
• Stage Management
• Sound Management
• Perform stage events
• Stewards
• Catering
• Publicity

Boat Project

Sustain sponsored a boat manufacturing factory in Killnochi in partnership with TECH. We have already built over 20 boats. The boat factory has received orders from International NGOs and expatriats organisation.  TamilNet Article

Sustain has sposored the delivery and implementation of two quick build houses in Vaharai andMullaithivu, North-East Sri Lanka.
